Since its been over a year since the last new ep of Battlestar Galactica, Sci Fi Channel is planning to air two BSG specials in March. One will recap last three season's major events and the other will examine fan and critical reaction to the series.- JJ Abrams talked to Howard Stern about Star Trek, Cloverfield and William Shatner.
- John Noble from Lord of The Rings joins Abrams' upcoming TV series Fringe.

If sci-fi is the last bastion for philosophical thought then its a shame it gets such poor recognition among MFA creative writing snoots. Unfortunately, there are some creative writing professors and students who don't think sci-fi and fantasy belong in the same tier as more "literary" pieces. I'm still not quite sure what they mean by "literary." Anyway, hopefully they'll benefit from the articles here.
